Back in the days..

The other day, I don't remember why, I was thinking about how my German friend, Christian, is doing in Germany (Anyone from LAMP still remember Christian?) But I do remember that during my first or second semester here in Auburn, I sent him something like this:
------------------------------------------------------------------
These are the thing I learned in college, so far..
1. F = m(vbh)2?
2.

------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, those are the days...

Busy Busy

// Current mood: stressed

Hokay, so this week is an extremely busy week. Tomorrow (Sept 28), the homework for Networks is due; next Monday (Oct 3) is my informative speech on web publishing, and also the midterm for networks, and Tuesday (Oct 4) is midterm for Business Ethics.. Despite all the crud I have to deal with this week, I'm slacking on my school work. I really need to reevaluate my priorities; something's got to give.

So I just got off work. The classes had a computerize quiz today, but the software is a piece of junk (what else is new?). Other than that, the class went smoothly.

I'll have to work on my speech tonight.

Just Like Heaven

// Current mood: ecstatic

I decided to go see Just Like Heaven tonight, which was definitely a good choice! Just Like Heaven is one of the best movie I have seen in a long time; it's got a really nice and sweet plot, and it's hilarious the entire movie. The spiritual dude is definitely righteous!

The 40-Year-Old Virgin

// Current mood: relaxed

Alright, so supposedly I found a public computer near the movie theater and made this entry.

I went to see The 40-Year-Old Virgin tonight. Parts of the movie were pretty funny, but the story is kind of random, and it's not really my kind of movie. I was thinking about going to see Just Like Heaven, but we decided to see this one because of the schedule.

Also, the movie contains some scenes of nudity. We came out of movie around 11:51.

Random Thoughts of Action and Motivation

Is the following is true?

, where
a is an action
m is one or more motivations
A is a set of all actions
M is a set of all motivations

Software Construction Homework 2

// Currently reading: Data Struction and Abstraction with Java by Carrano

Homework 2 for Software Construction is due midnight tonight, so after work I came straight to the Shop 2 computer lab to finish the homework. Fortunately I was able to finish the homework 45 minutes before the deadline . Guess what? I saw my buddy Tuan, and a couple of people in the class doing the same homework. We're having a programming party in the Engineering computer lab..Haha

New Weight-Room Equipments

// Currently reading: Moral Issues in Business by William Shaw

Went to the weight room in Student Act this afternoon. I thought they were only going to replace some old machines, but they replaced all of the equipments in the weight room, even the dumbbells I guess that's a good thing. Now everything is black.

A little later, Masa and I went playing tennis. The tennis court was full, so we waited for about 30 minutes, and finally someone yielded. After tennis, we went to Wal-Mart to get some supplies. Come back to apartment around 10:30pm.

Currently drinking: Coca-Cola with Lime.

More Studying

// Current mood: tired
// Currently reading: C++ How to Program (5th Edition)

Time certainly goes fast in the lab.

Well I took the mid-term for my public speaking class this morning. I definitely felt that I was under prepared, but I hope the score will come out alright.

I’m currently studying for the software construction mid-term in the Shop 2 Engineering Computer lab. Saw 4 or 5 people in the lab studying for the same thing. I’m hoping for the best for this test.

Studying for Mid-Terms

// Current mood: busy
// Current reading: A Speaker's Guidebook: Text and Reference by Dan O'Hair

I'm definitely crunched to study for tomorrow's Public Speaking mid-term. Because of the trip yesterday, I'm procrastinating again. Now I'm grateful for all the English classes I took at LAMP, they really made this class a lot easier.

I have 2 mid-terms this week: Public Speaking on Monday, and Software Construction on Tuesday . Dr. Dozier was trying to convince us that if we didn't start preparing our cheat sheet last week, we are not going to do well on the exam. Well, I hope he's wrong, because I'll have to start tomorrow.

Atlanta

// Current mood: exhausted

oday had been a fun yet exhausting day. I took Masa to Atlanta to take the TOEIC exam today, and since Fon is in Auburn this weekend, she decided to go with us. We headed down Interstate 85 around 8 AM, and we arrived at Atlanta around noon. Since we arrived a little early, we decided to go to get some Thai food before Masa's exam, but after 30 minutes drive, we were disappointed to find that the restaurant was not open. Because of the exam schedule, Masa quickly got something from SubWay before the exam, and Fon and I, later, got got some Pho.

During Masa's exam, Fon and I went to a couple of international markets. We had fun shopping and finding what we were looking for.

After the exam, we went to a couple more farmers' markets to find the things Masa wanted to get. Afterwards, we went to the Lenox Mall in Atlanta. The mall's got so many stores, but because we were all pretty tired from the long day, so we weren't really in the mood for shopping. We headed back from Atlanta around 7 pm, and got back in Auburn around 9 pm. Since I was driving the entire trip, I'm definitely worn-out.

Although I didn't see the football game tonight, I was glad to see the Toomers Corner trashed with toilet paper.

The Day Before Saturday

// Current mood: content

Fon came to Auburn today, so we went playing tennis around 7 for a little while. After playing tennis we went to Alan's house to hang out with his roommate and his roommate's dog, Brook. She's really friendly, but I wish she hadn't kissed me on the mouth .

Afterwards, we decided to go play pool, it was Alan and I against Fon and Tuan, and Fon was watching. Alan and I beat Fon and Tuan 3-1. haha

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, but I look forward to it.

New Training Machines

// Current mood: tired

I feel like I cannot emphasize enough how much I dislike the Business Ethics class. I really don't want to care if it's morally just that one has complete control over their holdings or if it's morally unjust for the government has some control over one's holding for the good of the society. I really don't want to present my arguments in a class that has no direction.

This afternoon I was going to weight training, but the weight room was closed until tomorrow for renovation. According to the Auburn Plainsman, the Student Activity Center is getting some new machines that will replace the old ones in the weight room. I can't wait to see the new training machines.

The COMP 1000 classes were fun tonight. The assignments were easy, and we were just having fun in the classes. Maybe I should be more professional.

Glom Photo

// Currnet mood: relaxed

Today is another long day on campus. After classes today, I had Physics 1 study group at Ramsay, and worked the rest of the night. I'm going to bed early tonight, and hopefully I can get up early tomorrow.

I had my individual photo taken for the Glomerata this afternoon without realizing they'll also be taking pictures tomorrow. My picture is probably not very good, b/c I was basically speed walking to Haley Center to have the picture taken 10 minutes before class, and I was a little out of breath and sweaty. Though laborious, today is a very interesting day.
