Learning I'll Stand by You by The Pretenders

Last week I found the music video "I'll Stand By You" by The Pretenders on YouTube and thought the song sounds really nice. I have heard of it numerous times in many occasions (one being a memorial ceremony at Auburn University), but never actually pay much attention to the song until now.

After listening to the song several times past week, I decided to learn to play it on my guitar. The song is surprisingly simple and mellifluous on the guitar. It, like many other great songs, keeps a regular beat with no syncopation, which makes the song flow beautifully and easy to learn. The following is the lyrics of the song with the chords.
